Are you having trouble organizing your closet? Have you moved into a new home and just can't figure out how to organize that new bedroom closet? I, unfortunately, suffer the latter of the two. My husband and I recent moved into a new home at the end of last year. No surprise, I haven't figured out how I want to organize my "side". That is until I went through that handy dandy Pinterest.
Here are the top 5 closet organization ideas I plan to implement into my new closet.

I loved the idea of hanging baskets on one of the spare walls, especially for laundry. I also loved this idea because I hate the idea of the laundry baskets being out in the open, so the other place, besides the laundry room, would be the bedroom closet.

This idea happened immediately after I saw it. I love the idea of hanging my tank tops from plastic shower curtain holders. It makes it so you can see each tank top easily and it is super easy to hang back up. I actually hung them directly from my closet rod instead of hanging them on a hanger. I love how it looks also! It is a must try!
If you are a shoe lover like myself, this idea is a great idea to take the shoes off the floor. It also utilizes space that is usally left untouched. I have a built in shelf in my closet and used a portion of that shelf for my shoes. Unfortunately, not all of my shoes fit on that shelf. So I was having trouble thinking of other ways to store the rest of my shoes without leaving them all laid out on the floor. When I saw this, I knew I was going to try this. Like I had mentioned before, it not only takes the shoes off the floor, but it uses space that is usually left bare!

An obvious one for most organization ideas is using the bins. I am not a fan of the plastic bins, but I have loved the idea of using the cloth type bins. I plan to use these bins for seasonal items or items I hardly touch. This way it is a little hidden and out of site. It also makes for a less clutter look.

Okay when I saw this idea, I knew it was another must. If you are someone who has a lot of jewelry or small items that are a pain to store. This idea is a total must for you. I love how she came up with idea to use bathroom type storage and utilize it for make shift jewlery holders! Its super awesome because it too takes away from any valuable shelf space and uses that wall area that is hardly ever used!

DeleteI've seen these ideas on Pinterest (I'm a pin junkie) and love them all. What I like is that many of the ideas help to keep the everyday items organized and easily accessible. Thanks for sharing your roundup on Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Totally love how everything is so neatly organized and easily accessible! What I loved most about each one also, is the idea of freeing up space for items that really can't get hung up or usually take up a lot of space on the floor or shelves!
